April flew by in a flash. The garden is thriving and eggs are abundant with all of the nice weather we’ve experienced lately. Summer is just around the corner, which is both extremely exciting and a bit of a bummer. Summer is my favorite season with so much sunshine, a plethora of outdoor activities and long days, but Kale goes to Alaska each summer to conduct his fisheries research (which is a great opportunity and bunches of fun) and I can’t help but miss that crazy guy when he’s gone. Oh well, it’s not a long time apart in the big picture of our lives together.
Speaking of Kale, it’s his birthday today! Happy Birthday, Kale! This is going to be an epically awesome year for you, I can just tell.
Anyhoo, back to the matter at hand. It’s the last day of the month, so it’s time for a little walk down memory lane. Looking through this recap I’m having a hard time deciding on a favorite, though I really love the garden markers and the way they make the garden feel so legitimate. Which is your favorite April post?

The clay rings looks really good
The epoxy clay was a lot of fun. I’ve been dreaming up some new projects to keep using it, so stay tuned.
