I didn’t know what I was getting into eight years ago. I didn’t know that an adorable furball would become a confidant, would always have my back, would be my constant companion.
I didn’t know that this face would always bring me so much joy and that these eyes would easily melt my heart.
I didn’t know the lengths I would go to to bring you happiness or the things you would suffer (like wearing this birthday hat) to bring happiness to me.
I didn’t know then, but I do now. I know that a dog can be your fur-baby, best friend, and foot warmer. I know that a dog will listen anytime without judgement. I know that a dog only remembers the best about you and quickly forgets your worst moments. I know that my life wouldn’t be the same without this very special dog.
